Can't connect to server...
When I type my username and password into the launcher, it does nothing for awhile and then says "Can't connect to game server. Please try again later. (10060)"

It used to work, but now it doesn't. The only thing that happened since it was working was my mom did a computer clean or something like that where useless files are cleaned up and stuff so that might have something to do with it. My internet obviously works so I don't know what the probalem is.

I reinstalled it and the latest version of DirectX but it still doesn't work.

Do you have the Softnyx Launcher and Rakion.bin enabled in your firewall?

Try this

go to start-> run -> type cmd -> type ipconfig/flushdns

It clears your dns cache.

Or go to

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Network...inSockFix.shtml

or

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4372.html

to fix your windows socket.

It may be deleted when your parents cleared your computer up.

That will not help. The problem is that the DNS does not know the correct site. SO CLEARING IT DOES NOT HELP!

Can't connect to server...
This is the email I got from softnyx:

Question
Whenever I enter my login ID and password it says "Can''t connect to server. Please try again later. (10060)" The game used to work for me but ever since my mom did a file cleanup it stopped working. I reinstalled everything and installed the latest direct X so I don''t know what is wrong. Can you please suggest what to do? Thank you.
Answer
Dear gary,

If you cannot login on small "Softnyx Game Launcher" or "Cannot connect to Auto-download server" message come out when you click Gunbound icon to start gunbound game :

1) Type http://broker.gunbound.net/ into your internet browser. If you cannot see "Syntax Error" message, call your ISP to fix the problem. only your ISP can solve this problem.

Also you can check routing path using "Tracert broker.gunbound.net" in DOS command (Start -> Run -> type CMD and click OK). For example, if you can see below final destination, your connection is normal.
13 14 ms 12 ms 13 ms 218.145.69.62 <- Softnyx Gateway router
14 * * * Request timed out. <- broker.gunbound.net server

2) Everything is normal and you have still same problem, please run Gunbound again after remove internet security program (antivirus program) that already installed in your computer because sometimes antivirus program or Windows firewall blocks "Port 8444 TCP,UDP".

Yours Sincerely,
Softnyx Customer Care

Yeah I accidentally asked about gunbound. I did the first they they asked and got "Syntax Error" Then I did the second thing and got:

Tracing route to broker.gunbound.net [61.74.68.176]
over a miximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms dslrounter [192.168.1.1]
2 * * * Request timed out.
3 * * * Request timed out.
4 * * * Request timed out.
5 * * * Request timed out.
6 * * * Request timed out.
7 * * * Request timed out.

and so on up to 30.

Then it says

Trace complete.

C:\Documents and Settings\Gary>

I don't know if that is good or bad.

Nope. Didn't work. Do the temperary internet files have anything to do with Rakion? Cause I think those were the only things deleted inbetween when I was able to play and when I got the error.

when ever a program gets an update, the firewall treats it as a new program and might block it or put it in the "limited access zone"
try playing with your firewall off and see if it works
